Community Warehouse Project of Chester County provides gently used free furniture to people in need due to poverty or other severe life challenges. If you are a case manager, social worker, or sponsor, read below for more information. Our goal is for all Chester County families and Veterans to live in furnished homes. We will discuss the furniture needs with each family and schedule delivery of the furniture and household goods as soon as possible directly to the clients’ homes.
Referring Clients
Referring agencies are vital partners who help the Community Warehouse Project turn empty houses into homes. Agency case managers assist by:
Qualifying and sponsoring a client
Completing ALL paperwork and demographic information
Request Furniture
Due to delivery challenges we incur daily, CWP must have current photos of house or apartment. We need to see photos of the front door, hallways, stairs, all inside rooms to be sure we are delivering the proper size furniture to your client. We will then contact your client to discuss their furniture needs and schedule delivery as soon as possible.
Please Note:We cannot move forward with client delivery without the photos.Thank you for your cooperation.
Please be aware thatyour client will be given a six (6) hour window delivery timeandthey must be present to accept delivery.Your client will be asked to sign a Delivery Confirmation Form at the time of delivery. If your client is not home at this scheduled time, the furniture will be returned to the warehouse and we cannot come back another time.
Agency Partners and New Partners must complete and submit the Collaborative Agency Agreement, located below, once per year with updated signatures and information.
Finally, complete and submit the Furniture Request Form below.
